Lake Baccarac was stocked in 1978 with a strain of Florida largemouth bass. The first bass fishing season was beyond most anglers dreams and has been improving ever since. Lake Baccarac is approximately 25 miles long and 5 miles wide, nestled among green forested mountain peaks. The new lodge is ideally located on the water's edge. Trophy Bass Fishing
Lake Record Bass, 19.10 pounds, was caught by Mr. Bruce Knutson, in January of 1993. We sincerely believe that the next World Record Largemouth Bass will be caught at Lake Baccarac within the next couple of years, as many anglers claim to have hooked and lost fish well over 20 pounds. Recent reports include multiple catches of bass over 12 pounds as well as 16, 17 and 18 pound bass.
Baccarac Lodge
The all new Lake Baccarac Lodge is ideally located on the water's edge. Opened in October, 2004, this first class bass fishing resort provide guests with brand new 18' Crestliner Boats, excellent meals, great service and large, comfortable air conditioned rooms surrounding a central courtyard with a charming patio area where they gather for Margaritas after a successful day of fishing.
Guests visiting the new Lake Baccarac Lodge will enjoy first class accommodations. Private rooms for single or double occupancy. The rooms are air-conditioned with private showers as well as hot and cold water. The lodge can accommodate up to 32 anglers at a time.
