Heath Issues:
There are no immunizations required for entry into Argentina. For the latest
information on health and immunization requirements worldwide, visit the
Center for Disease Control web site at www.cdc.gov. Because you may be in
remote locations make sure you bring any required medications and basic
first aid supplies. Although your guides will have epinephrine pins in their
first aid kits and are trained to use them, we advise carrying a personal
epi pin if you are allergic to any kind of insect sting.
Accommodations:
Estancia La Pelada is a 4-bedroom, 4-star cattle and horse ranch,
overlooking the Corriente River. This exclusive Spanish-Colonial style ranch
home is located 30 minutes outside Esquina, Corrientes.
Food:
The food served will be local meats, vegetables and fruit prepared daily in
traditional Argentine style. Desserts, breads, jams and pastries are all
homemade. Lunch and dinner will be served with fine wines from Mendoza,
Argentina.
Electric Current:
Because of the remote location, the electricity is produced by generator and
used from duck until 2 hours after sunrise. The current is 220 volt at 50
cycles and the sockets are for two round prongs or three angled flat prongs.
Therefore, visitors will need a converter for 110 volt devices and plug
adapters.
