Tabane Lake is situated in what can be considered the true headwaters of the Kazan River. The Outpost at Tabane is for the enthusiast who enjoys the challenge of a river. We have built a cabin located downstream from the acclaimed Ennadai Trading Post of Eskimo (Inuit) folklore. This gives you 20 miles of river to the West, 20 miles of river to the East and access to Ennadai Lake.

A cabin which sleeps six comfortably, Tabane is the wilderness retreat to put your angling skills to work. Arctic Grayling, Northern Pike and Lake Trout are all within a short distance from the Tabane Outpost. This outpost is for the more experienced Outdoorsman with a sense of adventure.

Fly to Kasba Lake from Winnipeg in just 2 1/2 hours.

Direct charter flights to Kasba Lake Lodge originate from Winnipeg, Manitoba, which is easy to reach via several major airlines. Flying time is just 2 1/2 hours, landing on our private airstrip a few hundred yards away from the main lodge and some of the best fishing in Canada.

Kasba Lake Lodge offers charter service originating in Winnipeg. This is a major air traffic hub and is serviced by many commercial airlines. The advantage of this carrier is the convenience of service. Our private airstrip is 800 miles north of Winnipeg but only 2 1/2 hours total flying time away.

After you have confirmed your fishing adventure at Kasba Lake, plan to be in Winnipeg the day before departure as your flight to Kasba Lake leaves early in the morning. Arriving at Kasba Lake Lodge (before noon) you will be served a hot lunch. Following lunch you will be checked in and assigned to your cabin, guide, and dining room. A fishing license will be issued before you head out fishing.
