Favorable patterns of rain during the late spring and summer encouraged heavy grain farming and outstanding dove nesting conditions in this region. This dove hunting season promises to be one of the most productive in many years. In fact, it is expected to be the best season in 5 years!

Your guided dove hunts will be on private farmers fields leased exclusively by Lago Vista. These are the perfect feeding grounds for these huge populations of Whitewing and mourning dove. Also experienced in duck and quail hunts, Lago Vista Lodge will make sure your hunting experience is a memorable one.

You will also be hunting dove & quail in the nearby foothills which provide an additional food source and nesting areas for the thousands of dove & quail in this area! Your package includes all trips to the field. Prices start at just $1,370.00 which includes your hunting license and permit, lodging, r/t transportation from Harlingen or McAllen, Texas, three meals a day, beverages with meals and while hunting. All you need to bring is your desire to shoot birds!

5 days / 4 nights / 3 days hunting - $1775 per person

Shells - $9.00 per box

Guide Fee - $20.00 per outing

Staff Tips - $10.00 per day
