The location for the Rio Negro Lodge was carefully selected in the heart of Brazil's finest trophy peacock bass fishery and is only a 20 minute boat ride from where the 27 pound IGFA all tackle world record peacock bass was caught in 1994. Since the lodge was completed in late October of 1998, lodge anglers have experienced excellent fishing with peacock bass up to 26 pounds being caught.

The Rio Negro is approximately 40 kilometers wide at the lodge, offering nearly endless trophy bass fishing in the sloughs and backwaters where the monster fish are caught. Fishing is conducted in state-of-the-art Nitro bass boats with 90hp Mercury outboards, with two anglers and an experienced Brazilian guide enjoying the greatest new top water fishing available in the world today!
