• All rates are for Saturday to Saturday packages. Partial week packages may be booked on space- available basis, but are generally not available January thru June except upon short notice.  

• All rates are double occupancy except as noted for the single supplement (private boat & guide) fishing package. 

• All of our deluxe guestrooms are comparable and all are centrally air-conditioned. There is no surcharge for air-conditioning.

All Packages Include: 

• Saturday airport pickup and transfer by boat to the lodge (flight arrival no later than 3:30PM)

• All lodging at Turneffe Flats, but not in Belize City if necessary

• Three meals daily, as well as evening hors d’oeuvres

Packages Do Not Include:

• Liquor

• Gratuities 

• Equipment rental (fishing or diving)

• An additional transfer fee may be required if arrival/departure other than on regularly scheduled day

Fishing Packages include guided fishing from 16' Dolphin Super skiffs (2 anglers per boat and guide). Abel reels and Sage rods are available for rent and should be reserved with the U.S. office ahead of time.

Diving Packages offer 3 dives daily, including at least one night dive, a day trip to Lighthouse Reef to dive the Blue Hole and Half Moon Caye wall (weather permitting), tanks and weights.

Combination Packages include a combination of fishing and SCUBA diving. Fishing and diving can be scheduled as desired, within the constraints of the lodge.

Atoll Adventure Packages and Non-Activity Packages. The Adventure Package includes a guided daily adventure such as snorkeling, sightseeing around Turneffe and an optional mainland tour (tour cost is additional).  Non-Activity Packages have no organized activity planned.

Boat Transfer

All packages include Saturday airport pickup and transfer by boat to the lodge. The boat leaves the Belize City marina at 3:30 P.M. on Saturday. We cannot safely make the boat trip to Turneffe Flats with a later departure. The boat trip to Turneffe Flats takes approximately one hour in our 31 ft Ocean Masters. Travel through several offshore caves, the Barrier Reef and then the Turneffe Islands to Turneffe Flats.

If for any reason you miss the boat, you will need to stay in Belize City Saturday night and catch our boat from the Princess International Marina at 8:00 A.M. Sunday. Please proceed to the Princess International desk to make arrangements to spend Saturday night. Plan to be at the marina with your luggage by 7:30 A.M. Sunday morning. The cost of meals and lodging in Belize City is not covered in your Turneffe Flats package, and you will need to settle your hotel bill when checking out.

DON'T FORGET TO BRING:

• Wading Shoes: These need to be firm soled shoes designed for flats wading and impermeable to small, sharp pieces of coral. Light tennis shoes will not work and can be dangerous.

• Polarized sunglasses

• Prescription medications

FISHING SCHEDULE: We keep the fishing schedule as flexible as possible, while doing what is necessary to properly manage our fishing resources. Lodge management will coordinate each day's fishing the evening before, i.e. guide, time, what type of fishing, and whether you wish to return for lunch or take a lunch.

As fishing pressure has increased with the development of a year-round fishing program at Turneffe Flats, our ocean side flats have developed a need for active resource management. Anglers will fish a maximum of four days per week on the ocean side flats, and a minimum of two days in other areas. Please keep in mind that the other areas provide a multitude of fishing opportunities, in fact, some of the best fishing at Turneffe. Alternatives to the ocean side flats include the inner bonefish flats, most of the permit flats, all of the tarpon areas, most of the barracuda fishing, and the mangrove and surf fishing areas.

Our guides work hard, but please remember that poling a boat is hard work and can't be done for 8-10 hours straight. Plan to take a break sometime during the day. A standard day's fishing is about 8 hours, and if you choose to fish longer days, please consider an extra tip.

FISHING SKIFFS: We fish from tiller-driven 16' Dolphin Super skiffs which were custom built in the U.S. These are comfortable boats with a nice casting deck, rod holders and limited dry storage.

CATCH AND RELEASE: With rare exception, all fish at Turneffe Flats are released.

WEATHER: Temperatures in Belize generally range from 75 - 95 degrees, and good sun protection is imperative. On the island there is nearly always a cooling trade wind. Cold fronts in the fall or early winter can occasionally drop temperatures to the 60's.

D I V I N G: Combination fishing and diving packages are available. We also offer a "Resort Course" for non-divers who wish to experience some of our wonderful diving without a full certification course.

A deposit equal to 25% of the package price is required to confirm a reservation and is due within two weeks of the booking date. Deposits are refundable (minus a $100 handling fee) up to 45 days prior to the start of a trip. Within 60 days prior to the start of a trip, the deposit is not refundable for any reason unless we are able to re-sell your space. No refunds are available for unused portions of packages.  We recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance. Final payment is due 45 days prior to departure and is not refundable.
