Hidden in southeastern South America, Uruguay is a country small in size and population, but huge in sporting opportunity. The small friendly country is overshadowed by Brazilian wetlands to its north and Argentina's Cordoba to its west. The areas that make up Uruguay and Argentina's famous wing shooting provinces are split by the Uruguay River and its tributaries. The main tributary, the Rio Negro is the home of the Portela brother's Black River Outfitter, their Estancia San Cirilo, and the life line for South America's famed wing shooting.

Gun permit and hunting license: $295 per hunter

A deposit of 50% per guest is required within 10 days of the reservation request. The balance is due 60 days prior to scheduled arrival.
