Your
host, guide and owner Mitch Bangert, is a 19 - year regular to the
Platte Valley. Four years ago he found his home in Saratoga and is
now sharing it with trout anglers from around the country. In the
early 90's he was the head guide for one of Alaska's premier
fly-out lodges and now spends his winters in New Zealand chasing
the South Island's wary Rainbows and Browns. Mitch's experience,
combined with the abundance of water to fish, leaves little to
chance. Access to 5 miles of private river, along with a trophy
lake, creates a crowd-free and special fishing package for our
clients.

"I've had the opportunity to guide and fish the best Rainbow Trout
waters in the world and Grays Reef on the North Platte River
doesn't take a back seat to any of them! 80+ hook-ups a day
between two anglers are common with the fish weighing in at 2 lbs.
to more than 10 lbs. and they fight with the heart of wild native
trout." |
